Will God forgive my grave sin?

Last night I was driving home from the casino with my friend and I got thirsty so I stole a drink of his soda. As he was yelling at me, we hit somebody on their bike. My buddy just decided to floor it and get away. Do you think I will be forgiven for stealing his soda?
