How come you can't use a dry shot of nitrous on a carb'd motorcycle?

Typically with nitrous there is an increase in cylinder pressure in proportion to the compression ratio. Cars that run nitrous run a compression ratio of 9 or 10. The Yzf has a compression of 12.2. It has been lightened to be able to handle combustion pressure and not much more. Adding nitrous will at the least blow the head gasket. At most it will blow the head off with could be dangerous considering the gas tank is right above the head.
