Can someone help me with curing a stuffy/runny nose?

I have a cold, and my best friend just ask me to go swimming this weekend with her. I only see her during the summer a little, and were kids and i know kids get real sad if their buddies can't come cause of a cold. So i need to get rid of the cold in a day, because it's thursday and were going swimming saturday. Thx!
