How do Christians reconcile one sin against another?

How can you accept the fact that the bible says there is only 1 unforgivable sin - to publicly deny the power of the holy spirit. How is this "sin" unforgivable whilst paedophilia,rape,murder,torture etc are all fine and dandy?
